This time tested design is hammered by hand & created by generational craftsman in Northern India. This is done to increase the surface area of Copper that touches the water. It also adds to the rigidity and prevents unintentional denting. The exterior is finished with a food grade lacquer to keep it shiny and beautiful. (Bare copper on the inside will tarnish; remove tarnish as needed per directions on the box and website). For use with drinking water only!
